Funding for Greenlink, intergovernmental agreement, meeting times; audio of meeting available
Simpsonville, S.C. — At the Committee of the Whole meeting held by Simpsonville City Council on Jan. 23, City Council took the following actions:
- voted to postpone to the February Committee of the Whole meeting a vote on funding for Greenlink in the fiscal year 2024-2025 budget
- approve adding to the February business meeting agenda consideration of entering into an intergovernmental agreement with Greenville County for National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System co-permittee status
- approve adding to the February business meeting agenda consideration of changing the Code of Ordinances to allow Council meeting times to be set by resolution to allow for flexibility in meeting time and place, an action that requires two readings
The next Simpsonville City Council meeting is the business meeting on Feb. 13 in Council Chambers at 6:30 p.m. at Simpsonville City Hall.
